Engi-Tech's soft sensors (SenTex) are mainly categorized within two types: resistive and capacitive. The sensors are made of 100% woven and/or non-woven textiles and can be stitched or sewn onto the existing garments or substrates. Single layer or multiple layers of conductive and non-conductive substrates can somehow be arranged to provide the required range of sensitivity for a specific application.

Currently Engi-Tech provides technological and technical services on both textile and non-textile based sensors and their controllers and welcomes collaborators on further development of these technologies.
